Mysuru: First COVID-19 positive case in 2 weeks

Mysuru: After 18 days without any COVID-19 patient, the district reported its first on May 18.
The patient is a 46-year-old Mumbai returnee.
The district reported its first COVID-19 positive case on March 21. The patient was a Dubai returnee.
Later, the virus was detected in Tablighi attendees and Jubilant employees bringing the cases in the district up to 90.
All 90 cases recovered and were discharged from the hospital.
However, with this new confirmed case, it is being alleged that the second wave of COVID-19 has begun in Mysuru district.
