Mysuru: Husband dies struggling for breath in front of wife; family alleges lack of oxygen support

Mysuru: A man died in front of his wife as he kept struggling for breath after not being attended by doctors in Mysuru on Thursday, May 13
The man’s family has alleged that he died due to lack of oxygen support.
The deceased identified as Shivayya was admitted to a private hospital with Covid-19 symptoms. The family alleges that the man was struggling for breath and doctors did not provide oxygen support
They further said that they are very poor but have managed to pay around Rs 70,000 for the treatment. However, they allege that the hospital staff are not allowing them to take the dead body without paying Rs 1 lakh
The family has now decided to leave the body at the hospital
