Mysuru: KSRTC to provide free bus passes to construction workers

Mysuru: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) chairman and MLA M Chandrappa informed that KSRTC will provide free bus passes to the construction workers to travel across the state soon.

A pilot project will be launched in Mysuru and around 60,600 registered construction workers in the district will be issued bus passes, said Chandrappa speaking with this regard after meeting with KSRTC officials in the district.

“Mysuru has been selected for the pilot project. The pass holders can travel in KSRTC buses across the state. The scheme would be extended across the state soon. Talks are on with labour department officials in this regard,” Chandrappa said.
