Mysuru man with withdrawal symptoms attempts suicide

Mysuru: A 45-year-old man allegedly suffering from withdrawal symptoms due to non-availability of liquor attempted suicide at his residence in Hoysalnagara here on Thursday, April 2.
The man, identified as Anand unsuccessfully attempted to end his life by slitting his throat. He has been admitted to a hospital for treatment.
Liquor stores across the state are shut in view of the lockdown imposed to contain spread of coronavirus.
