Mysuru-origin doctor honoured with parade for her service in treating COVID-19 patients in US

Mysuru: While we are all staying at home to stop the further spread of the Coronavirus, Doctors are the superheroes who are risking their lives every day to save others and in order to recognise their sacrifice, people around the world are expressing gratitude in various ways.

In one such incident, a Mysuru-origin doctor Uma Madhusudan was honoured in an extraordinary and heartwarming way and the video of the same went viral on the social media platform.

Doctor Uma Madhusudan works for South Windsor Hospital and has received a parade in front of her house for her commendable job.

Actor Adil Hussain too saluted the doctor by sharing the video on Twitter with a caption, “In recognition of her extraordinary service treating coronavirus patients in South Windsor Hospital in the US, Dr Uma Madhusudan, a Mysore-origin doctor honoured this way in front of her house. You can see her receiving salute!”

In this video, Dr Uma is seen receiving a parade and salute for his extraordinary service in serving the Corona patients.

In the clip, we can also witness people driving in cars and cheering this doctor. Even the Police cars and fire engines are also seen blaring the sirens. This is the gratitude of the people for his commendable work. Doctor Madhusudan is seen standing in front of her house and witnessing the parade along with waving the people in the parade.

Soon after the video was shared, it was liked by Twitter users, who also appreciated the efforts of people and the way they honoured Dr Uma.
