Mysore: A man reportedly pelted stones at Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s residence at T K Layout in Mysuru on Tuesday at around 8 am.
The accused was later identified to be Sathyamurthy from Mysore. He was promptly taken into police custody. An FIR has been registered at the Saraswathipuram police station regarding the incident.
It is gathered that Sathyamurthy has been known for his erratic behaviour. He had vandalized an EVM machine during the last assembly election. He had also posted a photo of District Deputy Commissioner Dr. KV Rajendra, referring to him as Rowdy Rajendra. It was previously reported that he has a history of mental illness.
The police are currently conducting thorough investigations into the incident.
