Mysuru: A video of a wild elephant crossing the barrier erected to prevent wildlife encroachment has created panic among the locals here.
The viral video on social media shows the shrewd tusker struggling to cross the barrier made using railings used in railway tracks and finally achieving success.
The incident is suspected to have taken place at the fortified barrier built at the Omkara zone of Bandipur national park.
Elephants easily scaling the sturdy fence has raised concerns. A similar incident had taken place earlier. In that case, the elephant lost its life trying to cross the barrier.
