Mysuru: Two huge trees were uprooted at Rajkumar Park during the heavy rains and winds that lashed the city on Friday.
Two cars were completely crushed under the trees, sources said. Fortunately, none were hurt.
The incident took place on Sri Harsha Road in Mysuru when a huge tree fell, damaging two cars and 5 electricity poles. The fallen trees completely blocked vehicular traffic on Harsha road.
The city corporation and the Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) staff are working to clear the debris.
Mysuru also witnessed heavy rainfall and strong winds triggered by the intense depression formed in the Bay of Bengal.
