Mysuru Zoo will reopen from tomorrow

Mysuru: World famous Mysuru zoo will reopen for the public from February 03 as it was shut for a month from January 04, 2017 in the wake of spread of H5N8 disease within the zoo premises last month. Blood, urine samples of birds of Mysuru zoo were sent for laboratory tests. The tests conducted have confirmed that the birds are free from H5N8 infection.

According to the guidelines received from Central Zoo Authority and Karnataka state Animal Husbandry Department, the zoo authorities have decided to open zoo for the public from tomorrow.
