N Vishnuvardhana assumes charge as Udupi SP

Udupi: IPS officer N Vishnuvardhana assumed charge as Udupi superintendent of police on Friday, January 3.

The state government on January 1 appointed Vishnuvardhana as Superintendent of Police of Udupi, within a day of Hakay Akshay Machhindra replacing Nisha James.

Vishnuvardhana, who was Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administration, Bengaluru, had earlier served as Additional Superintendent of Police in Udupi district.

Speaking to presspersons after assuming charge Vishnuvardhana said that he will hold discussions with his team and then chalk out plans for the district.
