Mangaluru: The district Congress spokesperson A C Vinayaraj termed MP Nalin Kumar Kateel’s claims of having done work as an election gimmick and slammed the MP for stealing credit for development works done by the UPA government.
“The decision to construct Kulai jetty was taken during the term of UPA government and so was the link road construction and road widening of Kulshekar – Karkala stretch. Now the MP is taking credit for the development works initiated by UPA government to misguide people and win their confidence. The MP should produce documents to justify the development he claims to have done,” demanded Vinayaraj.
“The upgrading of railway station is not yet started and this was promised by Nalin Kumar Kateel. The MP did not do anything pertaining to IT park development in Mudipu which was the project taken up by UPA government,” blamed the spokesperson.
