Nanthoor: One killed in road mishap

Mangaluru: A scooter rider traveling from KPT towards Nanthoor Junction was killed in a tragic accident.

The deceased has been identified as Shivanand.

The accident took place when a tanker driven by Sunith K, was moving recklessly from Nanthoor towards KPT and collided with the right side of Shivanand’s scooter, causing him to fall onto the national highway.

Eventually, the left rear tire of the tanker ran over Shivanand’s head killing him on the spot.

The mortal remains have been transported to Wenlock Hospital.
