Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to attend four more rallies in the state over next one month before the commencement of elections in Karnataka.

The elections are expected to be in the first week of March 2018. The state BJP has planned for four more BJP election rallies for Narendra Modi in Mysuru, Raichur, Kalaburgi and Davangere. The biggest one will be held in Davangere on February 27 during of BJP state president BS Yedryurappa’s 75th birthday.

The upcoming rallies will restrict the crowd to less than a lakh. According to the state BJP, Modi was willing to host 10 such rallies in the state but the state unit has limited it to four rallies keeping in mind the resources and time that will be spent on organizing the rallies.

The state’s BJP unit is expecting Modi’s visit to the state to be more frequent as soon as the election dates are out.
