In response to the NEET scam, the NSUI and District Congress organized a protest in Mangaluru today, demanding a special investigation into the matter.
Dakshina Kannada District Congress President Harish Kumar, Women’s Congress President Shalet Pinto, and key figures such as Padmaraj Poojary, Suhan Alva, Praveen Chandra Alva, Shashidhar Hegde, and Savad Sullia participated in the demonstration.
Padmaraj R. Poojary addressed the gathering, stating, “A conspiracy to leak question papers with the intention of selling seats has occurred. When Rahul Gandhi spoke in Parliament on behalf of the students, the microphone was turned off. This is a disrespect shown by the central government towards the students.”
District Congress President Harish Kumar remarked, “This is one of the biggest scams in the country. Rahul Gandhi was the first to raise his voice about it. The Prime Minister has yet to respond. Students and parents are anxious about the situation.”
