Netizens praise dedication of TN postman who walked 15 km every day to deliver letters for 30 years

Chennai: A Tamil Nadu Postman trekked nearly 15 kilometers every day in his 30 years service to deliver letters to remote areas. As he is about to complete his service, netizens praised his work on social media.
IAS Officer, took to Twitter on Wednesday to praise the postman, D Sivan and wrote, ” Postman D Sivan walked 15 kms every day through thick forests to deliver mail in inaccessible areas in Coonoor,” she wrote.
“Chased by wild elephants, bears, gaurs, crossing slippery streams and waterfalls he did his duty with utmost dedication for 30 years till he retired last week,” she added.
