Netravati water level drops

Bantwal: The rise in the water level in Netravati river is reducing and is at 10.7M as of the evening of August 10. On Friday, the water level was at 8.6M and continuously kept rising and on Saturday morning around 9 am, the water level stood at 11.6M.
Aladka, Sunnadagudu, Bantwal Baddakatte areas are inundated with water entering houses here. Although the intensity of the flooding has dropped, the fear within the people persists. All measures have been taken to handle any possibility, informs the Tahsildar.
