Kundapura: Reacting on the Cabinet expansion exercise recently concluded in the State, Kundapur MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty said that he never requested any ministerial position nor was he offered one.
He was replying to a question at a news conference whether he is upset that even though he is a five time MLA still he wasn’t given a ministerial position.
He added that he is not upset on not being made a minister as it is the chief minister and the party’s high command who have the authority to allot ministerial berths.
“The flyover work in Kundapur is underway and will be completed soon,” he further said.
