Kadri: The new Mallikatte Circle built by Bhandary Builders through its CSR funds was inaugurated by Mayor Bhaskar Moily along with former MLA J R Lobo on Saturday December 22.
The mayor spoke on the occasion and said,”Bhandary Builders has contributed one more circle to Mangaluru. Earlier they have developed two circles at Kadri. Such kind of development for the city like Mangaluru coming from builders is always a welcome and such contribution is very necessary for Smart City like Mangaluru.”
Addressing the gathered, the managing director of Bhandary Builders, Lakshmish Bhandary said, “We have constructed this circle under corporate social responsibility (CSR) fund worth Rs 21 lac. We wanted to contribute in beautifying Mangaluru and hence this circle. We cannot do the same in all places. But if everyone contributes and do such development, then it will be useful for the overall growth of Mangaluru.”
Through its CSR funds, Bhandary Builders has constructed Vivekananda Park at Bejai, which was a dump yard earlier and Kadri Temple Circle so far. The 40-year-old Ashwatha Katte near Mallikatte has also been beautified by Bhandary Builders.
