New train to Goa via coastal Karnataka soon

Mangaluru: The South Western Railway on Tuesday, February 11 announced the new Yeshwantpur-Vasco do Gama-Yeshwantpur train will ply soon to the coastal stations without coming to Mangaluru.

The train numbered 06587 up and 06588 down, will run all days.

The train will leave Yeshwantpur at 6:45 pm and will reach the Vasco da Gama railway station at 10:30 am next day. It will leave from Vasco at 4:40 pm and will reach Yeshwantpur at 9 am the next day.

The train will stop at Padil (3:30 am), Surathkal (4:10 am), Udupi (4:50 am), Kundapura (5:20 am), Byndoor (5:40 am), Karwar (8:30) during up journey.

The train will stop at Karwar (7 pm), Byndoor (10:33 pm), Kundapura (10:55 pm), Udupi (11:25 pm) and Padil at (12:20 pm).

Detailed notification and the date from which the train service will start is yet to be issued by the South Western Railway.
