Karwar: A newly wed woman apparently went missing from her maternal home, merely nine days after her marriage.
Husband, Sachin Naik from here filed a police complaint in this regard.
In his complaint, Sachin has said that the two got married on June 28 and they shared a cordial relationship. The two had offered prayers in various temples on July 2 and 3. On July 4, the couple visited Divya’s parent’s residence for dinner. As per the families tradition, the bride stayed back at her parental home for five days. Accordingly, Divya stayed back and on July 6, Divya went to a tailor shop and went missing since then.
Sachin alleged that a person called Dilan had called him stating that he had abducted Divya and if he made efforts to trace her she will be murdered.
