The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted a series of raids in Ballari leading to the arrest of multiple individuals allegedly associated with banned organizations and terrorists.
According to sources, NIA officials, in collaboration with Ballari Police, carried out searches at nine locations, including Kaul Bazar and Jagriti Nagar. The operation comes on the heels of a recent arrest on December 2, where a 19-year-old youth was apprehended in connection with the printing and circulation of counterfeit currency.
The NIA’s latest raid targeted individuals involved in drug smuggling and activities deemed seditious. The operation was executed with separate police security provided for each of the nine teams involved. Authorities are intensifying efforts to curb illegal activities and maintain national security.
