NIA takes alleged ISIS sympathizer into custody from Bhatkal: Sources

Bhatkal: The sleuths of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) have reportedly taken an alleged ISIS sympathizer into custody.
As per sources, the operation took place late at night on July 30. The person allegedly liked and commented on Social media posts favoring ISIS.
The NIA officials, from Bengaluru and Delhi, arrived in Bhatkal a few days ago. The movements of the suspect, Abdul Muktadir, were monitored for a couple of days before swooping in to arrest him from his home in Bhatkal, sources added.
The NIA is yet to confirm the arrest.
