Nigerian national stabbed to death by girlfriend

New Delhi: A 30-year-old Nigerian national was allegedly stabbed to death by his girlfriend, also from the same country, following an altercation between them in Uttam Nagar area of south west Delhi, the police said.

Izzu, a garment trader, had a fight with his girlfriend, at his rented residence on Saturday following which the woman, in a fit of rage, stabbed him on his hand, a police officer said.

She then took him to a hospital where doctors declared him dead, the officer said.

The accused, who ran an eatery, has been apprehended, he said.
