Bengaluru:  The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police have arrested three foreign nationals on allegations of drug peddling.

Nigerian nationals Obina Promise Victor (35), Osas Moses (30), and Ugochukwu M (40) were arrested while selling party drug MDMA. About 561 grams of MDMA crystals worth Rs 60 lakhs and 3 mobile phones were recovered from them, police said.

According to police, the three individuals had come to India on a business visa and were overstaying in Bengaluru even after their visas expired. They trafficked MDMA (also known as a party drug) through their foreign contact and sold them to youths from Kerala.

Police said the trio was caught selling drugs in the Hennur police station limits.

Among the accused, Obina Promise Victor has another drug-related case pending against him at the Amrutahalli police station. He had been arrested under the NDPS Act in 2021 but continued his drug peddling business after release, police said.
