Nikhil Kumaraswamy meets JD(S) workers who were attacked in Mandya

Mandya: Cong-JD(S) alliance candidate Nikhil Kumaraswamy on Monday met the JD(S) workers who were attacked by a group of people on Sunday nigh in at Gurudevarahalli in Maddur Taluk of Mandya constituency.

After meeting the victim Nikhil Kumaraswamy assured that he will make sure that strict action against the perpetrators will be taken.

He also appealed party workers not to take the law into their hands.

A group of people on Sunday night attacked JD(S) workers at Gurudevarahalli in Maddur Taluk of Mandya constituency. Three party workers were injured in the attack and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The victims alleged that they were attacked soon after the campaign of independent candidate Sumalatha Ambareesh ended.
