Nippani Rural Police nab 4, recovers 41 bikes worth Rs. 24.60 lakhs

Chikkodi: The Nippani Rural Police have successfully nabbed four accused of stealing 41 bikes, here on Sunday.

The accused are Yuvaraj Sanjay Pawar and Vinayak Tanaji Kavale from Kurli village, Dayanand Shambaji Shettake and Tanaji Shambaji Shettake from Hadanal village.

As per the police sources, around 41 bikes worth Rs. 24.60 lakhs have been recovered.

It is learned that the 36 bikes are from Karnataka and five from Maharashtra.

The team led by Superintendent of Police Dr. Sanjeev Patil carried out the search operations.
