Union Minister Nitin Gadkari fainted during a speech at an election rally in Yavatmal, Maharashtra on April 24.

According to several media reports, he received quick medical attention and was able to resume his speech after a short break.

A troubling video of the incident, which was streamed live on X (formerly Twitter), showed Gadkari being helped off stage by his team, who formed a protective circle around him for privacy while he received medical care.

After finishing his speech, Mr. Gadkari shared on X (formerly Twitter), “I felt uncomfortable due to the heat at the Pusad rally in Maharashtra. But now I’m feeling fine and heading to Varud for the next meeting. Thank you for your support and wishes.”
