No board exams in March: Min Suresh Kumar

Bengaluru: Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar on December 21 said that the board exams for classes 10 and 12 will not be held in March as usual.
He said this while speaking over the phone with a news channel, adding that a detailed academic calendar will be released soon.
The reduced syllabus will also be released along with the calendar, Suresh said.
He also expressed the inability to help teachers in private unaided schools stating that the finance minister did not agree to a Rs 300 crore financial package for them.
