No holiday for schools and colleges on Wednesday: DC

Mangaluru: No holiday has been declared for schools and colleges for Wednesday 24th informed Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada district, Sasikanth Senthil.
Clarifying on some people believing the untrue social media reports that holiday has been announced by the DC for Wednesday, the DC clarified that although the district has been facing rain since a few days, he assured that he had not announced holiday for schools and colleges on Wednesday.
Apparently, some people are circulating on social media the communication of DC dated July 22 in which Mr Senthil has mentioned about the holiday of July 23, only in this case the dates have been changed.
