No ministerial berth to Angara: Dist BJP delegation to meet BSY

Mangaluru: A delegation of BJP leaders including state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel, Dakshina Kannada district BJP president and MLA Sanjeeva Matandoor will be meeting Chief Minister BS Yediyurappaand appeal him to provide ministerial berth to six-time MLA of Sullia S Angara.
As per the sources, in a meeting held on Saturday, August 24 by the BJP leaders, it was decided to take a delegation of all the MLAs of the district as well as the prominent leaders of Sullia taluk to meet the CM Yediyurappa and urge him to provide ministerial position to Sullia MLA Angara at least in the next cabinet expansion.
Addressing presspersons after the meeting Sanjeeva Matandoor said, “We expected Sullia MLA S Angara to get ministerial berth during the cabinet formation. We all were hopeful of a minister position for him as he has won for the sixth consecutive time from Sullia.
He further added, “We will meet Yediyurappa and urge him to provide minister berth to Angara in the next cabinet expansion.”
