Hubblli: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that so far no priest has approached me or discussed the matter of any priests entering the election fray.

Speaking to reporters near his residence here on Sunday, Bommai said that nothing can be said about any pontiffs contesting the election.

Talking about the Arkavathy irregularities issue, the CM said that the 3-member commission has given a report about the scam at the Arkavathy layout redo exercise and denotification. Based on the report, further actions will be initiated. Decisions about the next steps will be taken by the Cabinet, he added.

Siddaramaiah himself is caught in the vortex of lies, the CM said, and added that the lies he has told are coming out in the open one by one. Targeting Congress, the CM said “They are under the illusion that if they tell a lie about another a thousand times, it will become the truth. Truth is truth. A lie is a lie. A lie does not become a truth as soon as they say it, a truth does not become a lie. But after telling excessive lies, they started to believe that lies are truth.”
