Mysuru: Karnataka Minister Shivraj Thangadagi said that Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat will not be spared and suitable action will be taken against him for his controversial remarks.
He was responding to the media’s question about whether the government failed to arrest Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat although a case was registered for his derogatory statement about women of the Muslim community.
He further alleged that BJP is trying to politically discredit DCM DK Shivakumar. Central agencies like CBI and ED have been used as if they are BJP’s property, he said and added that the agencies were being used to silence those who criticize the party.
“Why aren’t ED, and CBI filing cases against (persons affiliated with) BJP?” he asked. He further accused the BJP of playing with the religious sentiments of the people.
On the issue of government schools in border areas, the minister said that there is no question of closure of such government schools.
