No relaxations tom: State govt extends complete lockdown till Apr 21 midnight

Bengaluru: Karnataka government has decided to extend the lockdown measures in the state till April 21 midnight. A circular to this effect was released by the government on Sunday, April 19.
As per the order there will be no easing of restriction from April 20 and the present lockdown measures will continue till April 21 midnight.
The Centre while extending the lockdown till May 3 had announced that restrictions will be eased from April 20 onwards in those areas that are not affected with coronavirus.
Exercising powers conferred under Disaster Management Act, 2005, Karnataka chief secretary TM Vijay Bhaskar directed all departments, district deputy commissioners, Superintendent of Police and other departmental heads that they shall continue to implement the present lockdown measures, aimed at containing spread of Covid 19 in the state till April 21 midnight.
