After hosting Bigg Boss Kannada, Kiccha Sudeep is now gearing up for the upcoming Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) 2025. He will once again lead the Karnataka Bulldozers team. The team has already started practice sessions, and on January 29, a jersey launch event was organized, attended by all team members and owners.
As part of the CCL launch, Sudeep held a press conference, where he got visibly annoyed when a journalist asked about his rejection of the Karnataka State Award.
Recently, Sudeep declined the State Award given by the Karnataka government, and this became a talking point during the press meet. When asked why he rejected the award, Sudeep responded, “This is not a State Award interview, is it? The State Award is not the CCL Cup. I have already written a letter explaining my decision. If needed, I can translate it into Kannada for you. Please read it carefully. There should be no further questions on this matter. This is personal, and this is not the right platform to discuss it. Did I bring up this topic? Why should I justify it here?”
The CCL 2025 tournament is set to begin on February 8 in Bengaluru, with matches scheduled every weekend.
