Mysuru: Cooperation Minister ST Somashekhar said that he is not surprised that DK Shivakumar’s name has cropped up in the Jarkiholi CD case as it was already a known fact by all.
Speaking to reporters here, he said, “We did not tell anyone to take DK Shivakumar’s name, she did it herself. What does this mean then?”
“There was confusion as to who is the leader in the CD case. We too were curious to know the name. Now the victim has given a name. We will soon know the real leader in the case,” the minister added.
“Politicians and ministers are being targeted in this case. Hence, it is more than important to find out the mastermind of the case. The Karnataka government and the police will protect the woman wherever she wants to come and record her statement,” Somashekhar said.
