Non-availability of duty doctor kills patient

Gokarna: A patient suffering from fever breathed his last deficiency of doctors at primary health centre, Gokarna.
Gangadhar Ramchandra Achari, 40 had gone to the hospital complaining of high fever. But, since the duty doctor was not available, he failed to receive any treatment and breathed his last. Despite the fact that the attendants at the hospitals attempted their level best he couldn’t be saved.
Local people were outraged that there are no doctors available here whenever needed.
