Chitradurga: Chief Minister Basawaraj Bommai said that his government will ban banks from confiscating properties of farmers for non-repayment of loans.

“The farmers of the state are in distress. It is not right to confiscate their property when they are already suffering. I will take a decision with this regard as soon as I go back to Bengaluru” the CM said.

Meanwhile, former chief minister BS Yediyurappa said that the BJP government is with the farmers. “We will not let anyone confiscate farmer’s property,” he added.
