Not right to protest during crisis: Min Somanna on transport workers’ strike

Dharmasthala: State’s Housing Minister V Somanna said that it is not wrong for the transport workers to make demands but not during an economic crisis.
Speaking at the temple town here, he said that everyone knows about the present situation where it has become difficult even to pay salaries, however, the government released the three months pending salaries of the workers.
“I too had been a government employee, hence I can understand the problems of the workers. The struggle faced by them is not new,” he added.
“I am hopeful that everything will be discussed and all problems will be solved before today evening,” he said. “Chief Minister’s Yediyurappa’s government will not let anyone go hungry.”
