Noted Tamil comic actor Vivek no more

Chennai: Famous comic actor in Tamil cinema, Vivek (59) who was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack, died without responding to treatment.
Vivek was hospitalized at the SIMS Hospital at Vadapalani on Friday (April 16) and was in a critical condition. He died at about 4:35 am today.
He was reported to have received the anti-COVID-19 vaccine Covaxin on Thursday (April 15) at the Government Omandurar Medical College.
Vivek does not have a history of heart problems and the doctors reported that there were also no signs of COVID-19 infection.
Speaking to reporters after taking the COVID-19 vaccine on April 15 he had requested all who are eligible for the vaccine to get jabbed.
Vivek entered the silver screen in 1989 starring in KS Ravikumar’s “Pudu, Pudu Arthangal.”
He had starred in hundreds of films and has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Padma Shri.
