Bengaluru: Prime Minister has failed to handle problems originated after demonetisation in the country and this dare step had pushed Indian economy into crisis for the first time after independence,” said Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President G Parameshwara at Freedom Park in the state capital on Thursday. He was speaking at a protest staged against demonetisation.

Cash crunch has hit hard common man and the union government didn’t take any measures to prevent the issue. Many of the people lost their jobs whereas street vendors, small scale business men failed to face cash crunch and lost their respective job, business after demonetisation, he alleged.

November 08 where demonetisation came into force is the black day for the poor. The union government doesn’t has any data on black money found by it after demonetisation. Actually, after demonetisation huge amount of black money is kept by the rich in the country, he said.

The congress party members submitted a memorandum to RBI officials in Bengaluru asking them to solve currency crunch in the country by taking necessary measures.
