Udupi: The wait for the mortal remains of Shirva-based nurse Hazel Jyotsna Mathias, who died under mysterious circumstances in Saudi Arabia may finally be over.

Reportedly, a NOC (No Objection Letter) has been obtained from the Saudi Embassy and all processes in connection to the repatriation of her body have been completed. Hazel’s mortal remains are most likely expected to arrive in the city in the coming week, but a clear picture in this regard will be obtained on September 23.

Meanwhile, it is gathered that the photocopy of Aadhar card of Hazel’s father Robert Quadras has been sent to Saudi Arabia in order to facilitate him to receive Hazel’s mortal remains officially at Mangaluru International Airport.

Hazel was working in Al Miqua General Hospital in Abha province, Jeddah, from the last six years. Her last conversation with her family members and husband was on July 19.
