A Ola cab driver has reportedly filed a police complaint against Sandalwood actress Sanjjanaa Galrani accusing her of abusing him during her ride.
The actress, meanwhile, raised a complaint against the driver, Susay Mani S with ride-hailing firm Ola via a tweet.
The incident took place on October 5 during a trip from Indiranagar to RR Nagar.
In her tweet Sanjjanaa stated that two people accompanied her during the trip, and a cab bearing registration number KA 50 8960 was assigned to them.
Further she alleged that the driver initially refused to switch on the air-conditioner when they asked for it. When they pointed out that they had booked an air-conditioned cab, he finally turned on the AC for level 1 but refused to increase it.
Along with the tweet, she attached a screenshot of the complaint to the cap services team where she stated, “the cab driver at first refused to on the A/c and was suffocating us, despite charging us full money for the AC car, which also has a broken windshield.” she further added.
“He threatened to offload us in the middle of the road. I have a big suitcase in the booth as I’m enroute my shoot, and this man (driver) has completely Ruined the aura of the day..What are we supposed to do when you hire such inhuman people as drivers? Why are you charging us full money and offering us such damaged cars? I am a public figure; I can at least voice my plight… imagine the plight of normal women who travel daily?,” she tweeted.

Following the allegations by the actress, the driver approached the RR Nagar police station and filed a complaint against her. In his complaint the driver claimed that the booked destination was Kengeri and not RR Nagar. An argument ensued after he asked her to change the location in the booking and Sanjjanaa allegedly abused him.
RR Nagar police have taken the complaint and are investigating further.
On Wednesday, Sanjjanna again took to twitter to react to the abuse allegations levelled against her by the driver.
