Omicron: Weekend curfew in Karnataka from Friday

Bengaluru: Karnataka government on Tuesday, January 4 released fresh guidelines amid increasing omicron cases.
The government has decided to impose weekend curfew from Friday 10 pm to Monday 5 am for two weeks to contain covid spread.
While the weekend curfew will be imposed, essential commodities and hotels will function without any interruption.
As Bengaluru accounts for 85 per cent of the state’s new cases. Schools will be shut for two weeks in the capital city.
Malls, pubs, theatres, bars, and gyms will be open at 50 per cent capaicty. Only those who have taken both the vaccine doses will be allowed to enter.
