Bantwal: Rural Development Minister KS Eshwarappa on Monday, January 11 said that it is their duty to prioritize giving a ministerial post to the defected MLAs and the party leaders have considered this factor. We are proud that Sullia’s MLA S Angara did not become another Basangouda Patil Yatnal.

Speaking to reporters after the BJP Jan Sevak conference here, he said that making Angara and Sunil Kumar ministers are yet to be decided. Adding that we are proud Sullia’s MLA S Angara did not become another Basangouda Patil Yatnal. Dakshina Kannada district is a disciplined district.

“Nalin Kateel’s organising power is so forceful that he appears in Siddaramaiah’s nightmare every night. It is also a matter of pride that a stellar force in national politics BL Santosh is also from the district,” he said.

Talking about the pro-Pak slogans heard during the gram panchayat elections, he said that two gram panchayats in the Dakshina Kannada district have been captured by traitors.

He criticised Congress for not condemning it and warned that if Pakistan Zindabad slogans are ever shouted again then those shouting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ will cut their tongues.

“Siddaramaiah has been cursed for insulting the ‘gau maata.’ He bragged that he will eat beef, we do not care if he eats and dies. He has lost everything because of such conduct, Eshwarappa said.
