On duty electrical engineer falls to death at Yettinahole project site

Sakleshpur: In a tragic incident, an electrical engineer working for a private company died after he fell 70ft down at the Yettinahole project site at Yettinahalla Sakleshpur.

The deceased Rajendra Kukatanuru, 33, was native of Akki Colony in Vijayapura. He was working with Amruth Constructions, one of the companies involved in the project.

It is gathered that Rajendra fell while he was repairing a crest operation box. He was attached to a crest gate at Yettinahalla on a crane about 70ft high and fell down along with the crane and died.

A complaint has been filed Sakleshpur Rural Police by Rajendra’s brother, Mahendra Kukatanur.

In his complaint, Mahendra has blamed the head of the company PV Rao, and manager Rajan, for Rajendra’s death.
