Mangaluru: People often go to any extent to make easy money. Fooling people to part with their money by dressing up as eunuchs is just one way in which few people have been making money cashing in on the superstitious beliefs that one should not invite a eunuch’s curse.
Here in Mangaluru too, two men have been extracting people from visitors at the Kadri Park by dressing themselves up as eunuchs. Their act, however, was called out by a man named Sowraj Mangaluru who even posted a live video of the incident on Facebook.
While one of the con artistes identified himself as Gopi, hailing from Bihar the other person claimed to be from Madikeri.
In his live video Sowraj after nabbing the two men red-handed can be heard saying that these men, posing as eunuchs, harass couples and visitors here until they pay up money. He further says that the police department should crack the whip on such con men.
Since being shared on facebook the video has garnered over 2,400 shares.
