On same page with govt on COVID-19: D K Shivakumar

Bengaluru: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president D K Shivakumar stated that it is everyone’s responsibility to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and the Congress too is cooperating with the State government.

Speaking at a news conference, Shivakumar stated that KPCC Working Committee too is discussion the issue and the government’s decisions on it.

He also commended the work done by Congress workers including district chiefs and added that he is taking into confidence all party workers in the work been done by the state unit.

Talking about Ambedkar Jayanti celebration, he stated that the we are living by the constitution given by Ambedkar and hence it is our duty to celebrate the Jayanti.

Further adding that as the lockdown is not over the celebrations will be simple with only 8 people of the KPCC celebrating it and asking party workers to celebrate it at their homes.
