On-the-run accused arrested after 1.5 year

Mangaluru: Mangaluru police arrested Kavith Poojary(29), an accused in attempt to murder case who has been on the run for more than a year.
A Thokkotu resident, Kavith has six cases registered against him pertaining to assault, attempted murder and theft in Ullal police station.
He had been on the run since the last one and a half years and failed to appear in the court in the attempt to murder case. A, arrest warrant had been issued against him.
A team of police personnel arrested Kavith and handed him over to Ullal police station
