One arrested for hunting a bison

Byndoor: A man has been arrested by team of Forest Officials belonging to Byndoor zone on the charges of hunting a bison at Tondle in Paduvari village. The arrested person is identified as Robin, a resident of Nagaramakki in Yadtare village.

On May 9th, Robin and team killed a bison. Another accused identified as Abhilash Tangacchan, a resident of Madhhodi in Paduvari village is presently on the run.

Kundapur sub-division Assistant Forest Conservator J Lohit has taken up investigation of the case under the guidance of Kundapur sub-division Deputy Forest Conservation Officer Prabhakaran.

Byndoor zone Forest Officer T Kiran Babu, Kollur wildlife zone’s Forest Officer G V Naresh and the staffs of Byndoor and Kollur wildlife zone were part of the operation.
