Bagalkote: Sri Vishwaprasanna Teertha Swamiji of Udupi Pejawar Matha said that ‘One Nation, One Election’ is beneficial for the country, but a comprehensive discussion on its pros and cons is necessary before implementation.
Addressing presspersons, the seer emphasized the need for thorough discussion before arriving at conclusions regarding ‘One Nation, One Election’.
“Governments must ensure convenience for all and work towards the common good. We must strongly voice our concerns to the representatives we elect and present our demands to the government through their leadership. Solutions to issues should be sought through elected representatives,” he further added.
Bhakta Siddhanta Utsava to be held in Udupi
This year’s Bhakta Siddhanta Utsava will take place in Udupi. The seer noted that the previous event, following the passing of his guru, was held in Hubballi-Dharwad. During the lifetime of the senior seer, Tattvajnana Sammelan was organized every two years.
Additionally, the Maha Samradhana of the late guru will be conducted in Bengaluru from January 1 to 3, Swamiji announced.
